Portcullis Systems WebControl Appliances are the only fully installed, ISA-based Websense® appliances available on the market. They include the current multi-gigabyte Websense category database and feature a comprehensive configuration wizard that enables you to begin installing Websense rules in about 10 minutes instead of the day or two typically required to deploy Websense on white-box servers, or on systems that other vendors promote as Websense appliances.

Speed, simplicity and consistency of deployment are only the first advantages you will gain with Portcullis Systems WebControl. Each WebControl gateway integrates the full Websense Web Security Suite with Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA Server) Server 2006 on a hardened Windows 2003 operating system. The result delivers enterprise firewall, VPN, web proxy, web cache and content filtering services on one affordable appliance.

Portcullis Systems surrounds Websense and ISA Server with a comprehensive appliance management system and a configuration wizard that simultaneously provisions Websense and ISA Server. Also included are backup utilities that capture and export the whole-box image or only ISA firewall and Websense logs and configuration data. The software stack is imaged and tested on enterprise-class hardware and backed by the industry’s most responsive support. This unique combination of high-value software engineering, top-quality hardware and outstanding worldwide support enables the Portcullis Systems WebControl Appliance to provide the most rapid time-to-value and the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
